WHO WE ARE
Founded by veterans, healthcare providers, and journalists in 2016, the Veterans Healthcare Policy Institute is a non-profit, non-partisan think tank that provides clear, fact-based analysis to improve veterans’ healthcare and benefits. We help the public, policy makers, and the media understand that the VA is the only healthcare system in America that has the expertise needed to provide high quality care for our veterans. Plus, the VA serves all Americans through its clinical, research, and teaching missions. More than this, the VA pressure tests solutions to many of the nation’s most pressing social problems, from reducing homelessness, to improving health equity.
